  • What a waste of time. I have 2 till receipts from today, but neither has a bar code, just an ‘entry no’ ~ 62xxxxxxxxxx24, date 21.10.16, time 12.58.
You want my comments – put simply, Morrisons is rapidly going downhill. The staff appear to be seriously overworked, resulting in many empty shelves, and we can’t buy what is not there. Has some ‘genius of theory’ decided that staff numbers need to be reduced (to save money?) resulting in a major reduction in service quality. We have shopped exclusively at your Crewe store since it opened and in that time (especially very recently) it has gone seriously downhill. Remarkably, the staff are always cheerful and very heloful, but it must be affecting them, and certainly the store is not as busy as it used to be, although the prices are still competitive. We used to shop at Tesco, but after catching them out in ‘sharp practices’ we abandoned them and will never go back. We hate to think that a similar situation (although beyond the control of the shop staff) could seriously affect Morrisons.
Is any action contemplated to correct this situation before the store ceases to be viable? We would be very disappointed to see the Crewe store close (as a result of H.Q. management failure) and hope that corrections can be applied as soon as possible.

  • Morrisons new ready meals, ie: chicken and beef dinners are superb; and I used to be
a head chef, so have a reasonable taste in foodstuffs. Miles Hawke

  • Bought our Christmas meat (British Turkey Breast with smoked Pork Loin) from Willenhall branch on 23rd December, and it was superb! As a regular shopper, we find the Staff helpful and friendly. Butcher Paul Hutton, was extremely helpful with our concerns regarding the 3kg meat.
Also on the same day, the Children’s Choir from St.Giles Church who sang in the entrance were absolutely wonderful, they really lifted your spirits. Full marks to store manager Stuart Ruane and Kay Morgan who I understand is the person who organised it all. It was just MAGICAL.
    Well Done Morrisons!!
